The S3E, Building Energy Efficiency Simulator, is a free WEB service being developed by LabEEE to assist in the process of obtaining the National Energy Conservation Label(ENCEs) through the simulation method. It is expected that the service provided will help architects, engineers and designers in the development of more efficient buildings.
The S3E Project is part of the Ministry of Mines and Energy/LabEEE agreement with financial resources from FINEP and CNPq. The deadline for completion is 24 months from September 2009.
The preliminary test version is now available at the addresswww.s3e.ufsc.br
